After having brought to the audience many releases under the moniker of Nimh as well as collaborative efforts with artists such as Amon, Maurizio Bianchi, Mauthausen Orchestra, Antikatechon, Day Before Us (from the dark ambient, drone noise, industrial music scene) the multi-instrumentalist and sound producer Giuseppe Verticchio founded in 2014 the project Twist of Fate with Daniela Gherardi (violin and synthesizer).
Their first masterful release comes out on GS Productions which proudly welcomed the project.
The music offers a catchy combination of various styles, incorporating with originality elements of neofolk, shoegaze, dream pop, post-metal subgenres and experimental ambient sounds of great variety.
Inside dreamily introspective and evocative musical moments, the subtle guitar arpeggios come over soft synthetic pads, treated violin phrases in the background and nature themed field recordings.
A warmly recommended album for lovers of acoustic soundscapes and touching instrumental music.
